Straight Forward Webspace Management

Fancy websites, bells and whistles, moving graphics, lots of pages. Ok, they might look nice but they are not necessarily practical; they cost alot not only in original design but also upkeep, and sometimes it is hard for users to find what they want. Most potential customers will only look at a website for a few seconds and if they can't find the necessary information straight away they will go back to the Google listing and try the next one.

I am a free lance web designer offering an efficient and affordable design service aimed at the small business or personal user. I specialise in "calling card" websites ie. just a single home page that provides an online presence and gets a simple message across - you might like to think of it as a cheap online advertisement. Easy to set up, easy to maintain, cheap to run, and there for as long as you continue to pay a minimal fee for your webspace hire. Rather like this one!

Who is it for?

Many consumers now use the internet as their first port of call when they are seeking a product or service, yet the majority of small businesses still do not have a website. A few years ago costs were prohibitive but now it is easy to have a website and there are indeed many DIY packages available for you to build your own. But have you got the time to sort this out yourself? My single home page service can achieve this quickly and cheaply. It is aimed at the following sorts of small businesses, sole traders, or private practitioners: musicians, therapists, tradesmen, tutors, bands, holiday-let owners, actors, pubs, sports clubs, advisers, consultants, and alternative health practitioners. Or you may just be a member of the public who would like your own home page, domain name and email address.

Fixed Price Only £95

My set price for a single home page website is £95. This covers set up, design, email accounts, domain registration (.co.uk), and webspace hire for the first year. Subsequent years cost £50 per annum (this covers the continued cost of web space hire, .co.uk domain registration, and also minor amendments). Quotes for more involved websites or enhancements are available on application. There is no VAT on these prices.
